Whatever it is, I'm old enough to remember when particular kinds of (allegedly natural) disasters kept to their own regions. Earthquakes in Nevada and Argentina? Tornadoes crossing mountain ranges to go from Oklahoma where the wind usually went sweepin cros the plain - to Virginia and the Carolinas? DIDN'T HAPPEN BEFORE. What's next? Blizzards in Benin? Tsunamis in Sioux City?
